Yesterday, Sept. 24, as The NATO agent ruling the Ukraine (Kuchma) opened the air space to the US, the World War III scenario is completed. Russia can't accept this. No wonder today Novosti reports (of course with a question mark ) that Russia is preparing to enter Afghanistan. Some of the 1979 pieces of the puzzle are still the same. Russia can't allow the US in central Asia. But the fundamental piece of the puzzle is now different. There was then a battle between two evil (Soviets and NATO). There's now a battle going on between evil (NATO, moslem terrorists, ...) and good (Russia) with others (Northern Alliance, Iran, Iraq, ...).

SEPTEMBER 25, 2001- Ninety special operations were carried out on the territory of Chechnya during the first stage of the Whirlwind operation between September 17 and 23, RIA Novosti learned from the Russian Interior Ministry on Tuesday. During the implementation of these measures about 80 gunmen who offered armed resistance were killed. Apart from that, the same number of people were detained on suspicion of participating in illegal armed formations. Apart from that, according to Interior Ministry data, during the operation 14 people suspected of committing crimes with the use of explosive devices or involvement in their illicit trade were disclosed, and 861 people on the wanted list were detained. September 25 - Russian troops are drawing up to Tajik-Afghan border. According to the militaries, a planned recruitment for 201st infantry division quartered in Tajikistan is being carried out. Taking into account the recent events around Afghanistan and Vladimir Putin's statement about support for NATO's anti-terrorist operation, such recruitment looks ambiguous.
