February 8 1960 - it was all of a sudden learned through a simple press release from the Vatican, that the Third Secret of Fatima would not be revealed.
October 11 1962 - Second Vatican Council opens. It called for abolition of the ancient liturgy. The Church no longer had enemies, said 'Good Pope John' (XXIII), as the media immediately called him.
November 22 1963 - The Council's first edict, called Sacrosanctum Concilium (This Sacred Council), was issued. St Cecilia's Day, patroness of the very music it destroyed, while in Dallas Texas, indeed while the Council still deliberated, President Kennedy was assassinated.
September 11 1978 - the Wall Street Journal reported the words of Cardinal Charles Wojtila, now Pope John Paul II, addressed to US bishops during his visit to Philadelphia: "We are standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has gone through. I do not think the wide circle of the Christian community realises this fully. We are facing the final confrontation between the Church and the Anti-Church, the Gospel and the Anti-Gospel, Christ and the Antichrist."
September 26 1997 - an earthquake rocked the town and caused the roof of the basilica to collapse, killing two Franciscan brothers and damaging the Giotto frescos.
October 12 1998 - start of an allucinating series of events, where nuclear holocaust is repeatedly postponed (first ultimatum to Serbia, Rambouillet ultimatum not accepted by Milosevic, agreement to stop the bombing of Serbia and the occupation of Kosovo by Milosevic, Russians not attacked at the Pristina Airport, Vladimir Putin president of Russia Dec. 31, 1999, ...).
May 13, 2000 - John Paul II in Fatima. His spokesman announces the third secret to be revealed soon.
June 26, 2000 - third secret to be revealed by the Vatican contradicts details known about it.
September 11 2001 - NYC, where Babel was first rebuilt (Little Italy, Harlem, Chinatown, ...) : tallest towers crash.
January 24 2002 - the pontiff hosts Assisi III - officially, Day
Of Prayer For Peace In The World.
Eleven Orthodox patriarchs led by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew
of Constantinople will attend, plus a delegation from Orthodox Patriarch
Alexy of Moscow. Delegations from Judaism, Buddhism, Shintoism, Islam,
Jainism, Sikhism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, African animism are taking
part, plus many Christian denominations, together with Muslim delegates
from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, Philippines, Lebanon, Egypt, Albania,
Bulgaria, Jordan, Jerusalem, Libya, Kazakhstan, and Turkey.
The Chief Rabbi of Rome Riccardo Di Segni will be there, also French
Grand Rabbi Samuel Rene Sirat, and David Rosen, president of Children Of
The Covenant.
Tibetan Buddhist leader, the Dalai Lama, who attended Assisi
I, will not be present. He has just come from paying a surprising
visit to Fatima, Portugal - the place where the Mother of Jesus appeared
with a final message for this generation that rejects God.
Previously, under the auspices of the 'Man Of The Century,' (John
Paul II), a statue of Buddha was placed on the altar at Assisi
and offered sacrifice.
