What do Clinton warnings about global warming have to do with the photo of Elian's rescue ?

Clinton "warns" about global warming

The exponential curves since 1965 for have been proved by facts beyond any doubts the latest by the end of 1995 (see below). For more than four years Clinton took no political measures to change that curve and save the planet. He did exactly the opposite.
Now, April 23, 2000, Clinton, playing the ecological role that until now was reserved to Gore, tells Leonardo DiCaprio in an interview : "The climate is changing, and the globe is warming at an unsustainable rate" (see below).

Clinton "rescues" Elian from his kidnappers

For over four months Clinton has sponsored the kidnapping of Elian, in violation of international law. Four over four months Clinton and the mass media have been hiding what is the issue of the case of Elian : destroying the family ties. By the way notice as in this issue Gore and Clinton change the roles they play in the global warming issue. Now Clinton finally "rescues" Elian.

Two sides of the same coin

Why does Clinton say it now ? Because For Elian, check the REAL other side of the story here

Hiding the exponential curve for global warming and the destruction of the ozone layer

For those exponential curves, check the NOAA site. but I'm not sure you'll eventually get those curves ...
To understand the true dimension of gobal warming over the period the starting point must be ONE ant the very same station, and the averages for the twelve months during that period. Instead, NOAA prefers to show us several ways of manipulating data.

Clinton's "warnings"

WASHINGTON, April 23 (UPI) -- President Clinton warned
in an ABC-TV interview aired Saturday night that unless
steps are taken to curb global warming, the climate of the
 United States would be changed.

He warned of more frequent flooding, heat waves, storms
and "extreme weather events generally," as well as public
 health consequences.

"The climate is changing, and the globe is warming at an
unsustainable rate," Clinton said in the interview with movie
star Leonardo DiCaprio, in connection with Earth Day.

Clinton said: If global warming is not slowed "and
unltimately reversed, what will happen is the polar ice caps
will melt more rapidly, sea levels will rise, you will have the
dangere of flooding in places like the precious Florida
Everglades, or the sugar cane fields of Louisiana; island
 nations could literally be buried."

The president said "citizen action" and voters forcing
politicians to address the issue "are the things that I think
need to be done right now and for the next several years, to
get America on the right track."

"I think we have to make climate change a local and
personal matter, in the same way other environmental
 issues are," he said.

Clinton cited a project at the White House, called "the
greening of the White House," as an example of a solution.
He said that by changing the lighting in the building, the
electric light bill was lowered by $100,000 a year. He said
an alternative type of roofing was installed to keep out more
heat and cold. In addition, he said, a more energy-efficient
heating system and water system were installed.

"These are the things that businesses all across America
 could be doing," he said.
